The definition of marketing will differ depending on who you ask.  My definition of marketing is summed up in 3 words: Gain. Retain. Thrive.  Without clients there is no business so they must be our focus. To market well is to really understand them, serve them where they are, and make their experience so outstanding that they tell everyone they know.  Add in some operational efficiencies and your business thrives.
